Does the idea intrigue? Tammy at Daisy Yellow is starting ICAD: an Index Card A Day Challenge , 61 days of daily art starting June 1st. Head over to her website for the FAQ. The idea of cheap stationery supplies like index cards (which I have in abundance, having rescued some from recycling, no guesses from where after you see the picture!) and using what I have, maybe even playing with supplies I've hardly touched, is intriguing. I've used index cards a couple of times, once as a tiny piece of art to send to the World Vision child that I sponsor, the other time I incorporated them into a larger piece of art. Already, I can see these being collaged into backgrounds. Stay tuned to see how I do. I'll report back at the beginning of August as to how it all went.

This is the September Green Paper challenge I didn't get around to. This is pretty much my original vision of it, except I went 3D, adding millinery flowers (which are held in a jazzed up toilet roll you don't even see) and cheesecloth (I love the dreamy effect it gives!). Adding the flowers meant I had to put Lillian on to something more substantial than cardstock, so I'm using Artist Canvas Boards. Right now it's propped up on top of my millinery flower holder. I have no clue how to make a hanging thing for it. Buy a frame?? Suggestions, anyone?

I missed out on the last one (I know what I want to do with it, just haven't had time to), but thanks to Mary's reminder, I made a simple sepia gluebook creation for her October challenge . Perhaps the title to this one should be: "Another damp summer holiday in Scotland"....

Mary Green of Green Paper is hosting another one of her challenges . These are so quick and easy to do (well, I'm doing a small gluebookish version of them, rather than a larger collage or shadow box or something...) My non-gluebookish part in this is the single rhinestone in her headdress. I think I'll call this one: "What Price Fame?" Go join in!
