Rebecca's Birthday Blog Party

For her birthday party, Rebecca Ersfield wanted us to share something special we'd made for someone (not ourselves). Here are two of mine:
I made this for a friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer. It's one of my "earlier works". Alcohol ink with beads, bird and plastic flowers embedded in wax.

I made this for my Nana when she was transferred to a nursing home. I have a couple of other beading projects in the works, but haven't gotten around to them. The milagros are significant to what was going on with her.

Such wonderful gifts you have shared here today, thank you so much for coming to my birthday party. You are truly talented and the persons receiving your gifts were so blessed, they were certainly gifts from the heart.

I just purchased some Milagros yesterday that I intend to incorporate into a creation... what a lovely gift to give your Nana as she was going through such a transition in her life... I'm guessing that your Friendship is the best Gift your Friend could ever receive and the lovely creations are evidence of your Love for her in action while she battled her illness. Merry Christmas... Dawn... The Bohemian
